Logan Tierney is an organizational leader skilled in strategic planning, program development and implementation, project and change management and operations oversight. She is experienced in healthcare policy and systems transformation, hospital administration, clinical operations, and health quality improvement.

Before joining HMA, she served as director of administration within the Montefiore Health System, supporting leadership in the Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall and Montefiore White Plains hospitals. In this role she oversaw clinical operations as well as the building and operations of the system’s new ambulatory service center in Westchester. She also served as project manager for an overhaul of hospital policies, operations, and metrics related to behavioral health and substance use programs and care connections, as well as the launch of new client service lines.

Additionally, Logan worked for the Greater New York Hospital Association where she served as a project manager with a portfolio dedicated to healthcare quality improvement, developing clinical leadership, health information technology and cybersecurity, and federal advocacy.

While working with the New York State (NYS) Department of Health, Policy Division, she was part of the team that developed and launched the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program, and later NYS’ value-based payment (VBP) program, working with senior staff on programmatic and network design, data analytics and cybersecurity, project milestone development and reporting, as well as communications and stakeholder engagement.

Logan has a background in graduate research in medical anthropology, and a deep understanding of the cultural and behavioral aspects that drive both healthcare and personal decision making.

She earned a Master of Arts in anthropology from State University of New York at Albany as well as a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and Latin American studies from State University of New York at New Paltz.

A native of New York’s Hudson Valley, Logan spends her free time waterskiing, ice skating, and hiking with her family, and is an accomplished portrait and macro photographer.
